The Célé valley offers a multitude of refreshing summer activities, from simple walks and picnics on the river banks to canoeing and kayaking.
From the river beachessmall, intimate coves invite you to take a siesta, interspersed with a dip in the sea.
If you prefer to be guided, you can also board a gabare for a short cruise with commentary.
It will take you along the vineyards, to the foot of the listed town of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie or under the Valentré bridge in Cahors.
Wander the region
A hiker’s paradise, with its network of trails and unspoilt countryside, the Parc naturel des Causses du Quercy offers walks and hikes for all levels.
The Lot is also crossed by the mythical Via Podiensis leading to Compostela. The pilgrims and hikers the Célé valley, leading to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie. Walk in their footsteps along these historic routes!
Countless other routes await you from the campsite or in the immediate vicinity. They take you to the village of vieux Sauliac and along paths lined with low dry-stone walls.
For even more thrills, discover the nearby via ferrata, a 10-minute drive away.
Cycling the roads of the Lot
The long-distance footpaths and trails around Mas de Nadal are also suitable for cycling. Mountain bike enthusiasts have a wide choice of routes to explore during their stay.
On the smaller country roads, too, there are signposted routes for short or long bike rides. Classic and electric bikes are availablefor hire near the campsite.
Horse riding near Saint-Cirq-Lapopie
The Mas de Nadal is also the ideal starting point for horseback riding. Our campsite has the Welcome Horselabel, provides riders with all the facilities they need to stay on the estate with a horse.
You and your mount can explore the most beautiful hiking and walking routes in the area.
