River beaches at Sauliac-sur-Célé
Just a twenty-minute walk from Mas de Nadal, accessible via a magnificent footpath, the beach at Sauliac-sur-Célé lies just below the old village.
You’ll find a stretch of grass and pebbles for relaxing, clear water for swimming and toilets nearby.
The summer bar also offers you a pleasant moment under its straw hut by the water, with a refreshment or ice cream in hand.
In the Lot, the most beautiful river beaches
Other beautiful beaches await you in the Célé valley or in the great Lot valley.
For a swim in a privileged setting, we recommend the beach in the small village of Castelfranc in the vineyards of Cahors the pretty beach under the old bridge at Brengues, on the way to Figeacor the beaches at Marcilhac-sur-Célé, facing the cliffs.
Keep your beach gear in your car for a swimming break after your visits! You’ll find a lovely stretch of pebbles at the foot of the Cabrerets mill, not far from the Pech Merle cave.

With its lush green landscapes and clear waters, the Vers valley is a popular destination for walkers and anglers.
A tributary of the Lot, the river is bordered by the pleasant beach of Saint-Géry-Vers. A welcoming stretch of grass, waterfalls, an old bridge and shallow water where children are safe.
Nearby, you’ll find playgrounds, a boulodrome and a snack bar. If you’d like a little more depth, you can cross the bridge to the banks of the Lot, at the mouth of the Vers river.
