Very nice market in the center of the city, warm and very diverse. All year round Saturday afternoon

FIGEAC (ca. 35 mn)
The most important market along the Célé, Saturday morning in the city center from 8am to 12:30pm.
So, the rich heritage Figeacois becomes tangible, spice merchants, nobles and peasants seem to reappear from the past, witnesses of the incredible history of the city. An ordinary market in a place tinged with mystery …

The square of St Etienne Cathedral is adorned with its many multicolored stalls and is home to one of the most beautiful markets in the South West.
Traditional traders (butchers, greengrocers, delicatessens …) rub shoulders with local producers (foie gras, goat cheese “Rocamadour”, farm lamb from Quercy, the famous apple cake called “Pastis” …) and the magic operates.
