In Around us

The black triangle of Quercy refers to an area of metropolitan France remarkably unaffected by light pollution due to the lighting of agglomerations and communication routes.

The clarity and depth of its nights have earned it recognition as a first class astronomical observation area.

Our village, Sauliac-sur-Célé, has been labeled 4 stars since 2016 by the National Association for the Protection of the Sky and the Environment Nocturnes (ANPCEN) recognition of the efforts made for years.

It is true that thanks to the action of all the other villages, also labeled, we have no light pollution thus making thanks to a black sky penetrating an excellent point of observation directly from your private terrace, your location where any other point of the domain!
